Scotiabank MS Walk April 11, 2010

April 14th, 2010

This year was probably the best walk yet for me. The skys didn’t look so nice when we woke Sunday morning but it didn’t take long and out came the nice warm sun. Team Eternal Hope gathered at Willows Beach to have some breakfast, some coffee and chat while we waited for the walk to begin. This year was probably the most challenging so far for pledge collections and fundraising but we worked together and did pretty well. The walk began and we all started off together but all kinda paired off with the person who kept the same pace. As always my boyfriend was in the lead:) I was at the back of the pack and about half way through the walk decided I wanted to catch up to others (and find a port a potty without a line up. LOL). So the last 3km of the walk I attempted to run – well it was more of a run for a bit then walk, run for a bit then walk. I really am not a runner and out of shape so I’m sure the site was a funny one. We all finished within minutes of each other and made great time (I think we were all faster this year). We took the opportunity for some photos before we headed out to brunch. Than it was off to the Reef for some brunch.

I want to thank everyone who is Team Eternal Hope – I love my friends and family for how much they care, give & support.
